Current ``Other'' Hardware and Software Support

Special-purpose hardware supported by the Testbed includes a 24-bit 600 dpi flatbed scanner, used to ingest imagery into ADL. Additional software supported by the Testbed includes:

1. ArcView and ARC/INFO GIS packages, used to preview and reformat vector data being entered into ADL;
2. netpbm image conversion and manipulation tools, used to preview and reformat image data being entered into ADL;
3. Digital ObjectBroker, a CORBA 2.0-compliant object broker, used to explore development of a distributed object version of ADL;
4. Python programming language, used to support the Stanford InfoBus proxy server.
