DESCRIPTION |
My game centers around the life of a young babysitter named Jessica. Her employers are Mr. and Mrs. Jones (well, mostly Mrs. Jones) who reside in San Francisco with their daughter Jamie, whom they put into Jessica's care. Jamie follows Jessica everywhere on her assigned tasks, whether it is grocery shopping or finding the owner of a lost pet. The zones are locations that can be found in any city, such as a playground, elementary school and supermarket. MORE... I was inspired to create a game based on this subject matter because of an imagined scene of a sand battle, a showdown between a young adult babysitter and a baby bully who is a mere child. To me, the idea of a rude child misbehaving and an adult stooping to his level to win was quite comical. This scene kept occurring to me and so I decided to create the playground zone first, and then the appropriate context surrounding it. I decided to create the life of an ordinary babysitter who is given a lot of mundane assignments like grocery shopping, but she also faces some not-so-ordinary tasks like defeating the baby bully of the neighborhood playground. << BACK |
