DESCRIPTION |
Gnome Home draws attention to unusual scale, as the entire game takes place from the perspective of a gnome. Things that would seem minuscule to humans in every day life such as blades of grass or mushrooms are towering in the game, and spiders are life threatening. The purpose of the game is to explore the land from an unfamiliar point of view where everything is magnified and more dangerous. The gameplay is intended to focus on exploration of the land, rather than fighting to gain experience or new weapons. MORE... Combat is for the purpose of survival, not to earn a higher rank or new skills. Items are limited in the game to encourage survival without fancy equipment or spells. Quests revolve around helping other gnomes in the game, as well as getting to know the different zones. There is no strict narrative or time constraints to allow the player to wander around freely without any pressure to move forward in the plot and overlook the environment. << BACK |
