EMOTE.exe is a work that explores the theme of emotions through gaming technology and games. Both emotions and video games are important parts of my life and my studies/artwork. This is an attempt to harness three base emotions (depression, anger, and fear) and interface them with a synthetic brain. MORE... Once contained in a special container that both houses the raw emotion and provides a USB interface, they can be injected into the synthetic brain. The brain translates them into a video game to be viewed and controlled by the participant. Each game is different, all depending on how the brain perceives each emotion. << BACK |
